The Secret Machines Return with New Album, Tour, and Independence

It's about time! The Secret Machines have a new album out October 14th--self-released this time, as Warner Bros. balked when Ben left the band for his new project, School of the Seven Bells, in early 2007. But things sound good with new guy, Phil Karnats stepping in, who used to play with Ben back in Tripping Daisy. There's a new track on MySpace you can listen to, but the best news of all is that, once again, you can catch them live. Here are the dates:
